In December 2009, METRAC trained over 35 youth and adults in the tools to conduct community safety audits along with over 25 adults at a subsequent training session.  Together, youth and adults will walk the St. James Town area, on which one of the Tower Renewal pilot site buildings is situated.

The group will develop recommendations and evaluate the level of safety for this area on a variety of risk factors.  The results will be shared with the Toronto Community Housing and Greenwin Property Management to discuss implementation.
